Can't leave San Antonio without grabbing breakfast or lunch from Twin Sisters! A Linda Hill staple.
Grab a coffee and an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie! Or a muffin! Or a loaf of bread! We won't judge, it's all delicious.
An Alamo Height's classic, get your Mexican food fix as well as dangerously delicious margaritas (The '09 is our favorite).
Another delicious option for Mexican food with the BEST queso and of course, great margaritas. I'm picking up on a theme...
Located on the river, Ocho at Hotel Havana is not only beautiful (and turquoise) but yes...they serve margaritas. We recommend grabbing a drink here before the Welcome Party!
Our favorite place to grab a beer and sit outside after walking or scooting around Southtown! The fried pickles are bangin' too if that's your thing (cause it's for sure ours).
Our newest favorite Southtown restaurant and bar! Especially if you are craving something delicious that's not Mexican food or margaritas.
Walk around the Pearl Brewery for lots of shopping, restaurants, bars as well as a farmer's market on Saturday's!
A few of our favorites there...
Restaurants: Southerleigh, Bakery Lorraine, Green, The Bottling Department (Food Hall), Down on Grayson (across the street)
Bars: Jazz, TX, The Sternwirth at Hotel Emma, High Street Wine Co.
Shopping: Dos Carolinas, Lee Lee, Twig Book Shop
The SAMA is our favorite museum in San Antonio with great exhibitions and is located in the original Lone Star Brewery. Walk to it along the river and stop by on your way to the Pearl!
The McNay has an amazing modern and contemporary art collection located in a historic Spanish colonial style house with beautiful gardens. Take a visit there after lunch at Twins Sisters.
Continue your art tour and check out the newest contemporary art museum in Southtown. You can't miss it, it's the bright pink building.
One of our favorite activities is to visit the historical missions in San Antonio! If you're feeling active, rent a bike starting downtown and bike along the river to all of them! Or only make it to three like we did.
